The House of Hope Medical Centre, established by Mizpah Foundation Kenya, stands as a beacon of healing and compassion in the heart of Talek, Maasai Mara. Before its creation, the surrounding Maasai community faced immense challenges accessing healthcare, with families traveling long distances or relying on unsafe, unregulated treatments. Mizpah Foundation recognized the urgent need for a reliable medical facility that would provide both essential healthcare and dignity to the underserved population.
The centre now delivers comprehensive medical care including outpatient services, maternity care, dental and eye treatment, and emergency response. It is equipped to handle the unique needs of rural communities, ensuring that no one is left behind due to distance or cost. Beyond treatment, Mizpah Foundation’s medical staff and volunteers conduct free medical camps and health awareness programs that focus on preventive care, maternal health, child immunization, and nutrition education. These initiatives have drastically reduced preventable illnesses and improved overall wellbeing within the Maasai region.
What makes the House of Hope Medical Centre truly unique is Mizpah Foundation’s holistic approach — merging professional healthcare with compassion, prayer, and emotional support. Every patient who walks through its doors experiences care that goes beyond medicine. Through partnerships with Troens Ord–Word of Faith Norway and local health departments, the centre continues to expand its capacity and improve service delivery, becoming a trusted hub for thousands of residents each year.
Mizpah Foundation is deeply grateful to every partner, donor, and volunteer who has contributed to the growth of the House of Hope Medical Centre. This project’s success reflects what unity and compassion can achieve. With your continued support, Mizpah Foundation hopes to expand its facilities to reach even more remote communities — bringing healing, hope, and holistic wellness to every corner of Kenya.
